I’ve been playing music from records and CDs more or less professionally since 1987. First with Agent Orange (until 1994) and then on my own. I played music in several clubs in the area. And also at private parties until 2007. After that, only when I couldn’t talk my way out of it.
Musically, I have a fairly broad taste, but I’m not very knowledgeable about any particular genre. I’m interested in music with synthesizers and distorted guitars. I also like melodic and/or funky music from time to time. I can sometimes appreciate mainstream music, although that’s becoming increasingly difficult lately.
Favorite bands: Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Metallica, BAP, Beatsteaks, H-Blocks, Rammstein….
Favorite artists: Mike Oldfield, Thomas D, Schiller, and a whole bunch of other bands and solo artists that I can’t think of right now.
Schlager, folk music, and similar genres are definitely not my preferred music.
