The Kreissparkasse Bersenbrück has been fulfilling its social responsibility for generations. With the establishment of its charitable foundation, it further secured its decades of commitment. Since then, the foundation's activities have focused specifically on regional initiatives and tasks related to local history, youth, disability, and elderly care in the former district of Bersenbrück.

The peace city of Osnabrück promotes cultural events, cultural projects, exhibitions, and works of art/installations with funds from its cultural project funding program. With this funding, the city aims to support a vibrant art and culture scene and to preserve, enrich, and further develop the diversity of cultural life. Cultural creators such as independent cultural institutions, artists, associations, initiatives, and committed individuals are eligible to apply.

The Landschaftsverband Osnabrücker Land e.V. (LVO) was founded in 1985 — originally as the “Landschaftsverband Osnabrück.” Today, it is one of 13 regional associations across Lower Saxony dedicated to the preservation and promotion of regional culture.

The LVO’s area of activity covers the district of Osnabrück and the city of Osnabrück — a region roughly corresponding to the former Principality.

In terms of content, the LVO is active in the fields of culture, art, nature, and regional history, whether through its own projects or by supporting third parties. The landscapes and regional associations in Lower Saxony serve as both custodians and promoters of culture in the broadest sense. Over several decades, they have gained a wealth of experience, expanded their regional expertise, and developed a high level of knowledge and capacity for communicating and promoting regional culture.
