Andreas Skrypietz, born in 1958, grew up in Osnabrück. We didn’t have TV when I was, and that was it. As we got older, we quickly learned how to surf the radio waves: BFBS, Hilversum III, and Radio Caroline were easy to find! The only highlight in the NDR universe was “Musik für junge Leute” (Music for Young People) with Klaus Wellershaus—that’s when radio was fun!
